Ella sleeps with her eyes open.
I swear. It's the freakiest thing I've ever seen. They aren't open all the way, but I'd say 1/3 of the way open, enough to see her unseeing eyes look back at you.
Does anyone else's kid sleep like this?

My husband sleeps like this, sometimes. FREAKS ME OUT!
My DD Does. It is super creepy. If she falls asleep on me I try to close them, but they pop back open.
Owen does, too.
David tells me I sleep like this. My mom says it used to drive her crazy when I was little because she wasn't sure I was asleep.

My DD, Abby, used to do that when she would fall asleep on me. It was weird and I'd close her eyes. I haven't seen her do it in a while though.
I've seen both of my nephews sleep like that. Freaky!!
So how did the girls handle the boy news?
My dd does it sometimes and it's very creepy. I've been told that my DH did that when he was a kid too.

My nephew sleeps like that as does my SIL (my nephew's mom). My SIL has horrible vision and my brother thinks its because she sleeps with her eyes open (the muscle is weak or something and her eyes get dried out - his theory) and is worried that it will affect my nephew now. They go to the eye doctor next week I think to ask about it.

My best friend's 2 year old does it. I took a picture once and it was freaky.
I used to babysit a kid named Thomas with my cousin who slept with his eyes open. Creepiest. thing. ever.
One night, we were upstairs watching him sleep because we thought it was so weird and his mom came home early. She probably thought we were nutjobs, but we explained why we were up there.
It really is quite odd.

Yes, my son does. We alwas laugh at him and then I close his lids with my hand. Creeps me out too.
Andrew does this too sometimes! It runs in our family. I'll have to have DH look at mine sometime, as I've never had anyone watch me sleep before (light sleeper here). My mom and a few of my brother sleep with their eyes open. Creepy, I know!
