We go to the zoo more than any other family in the city. I'm sure of it. These pictures were from the week before thanksgiving. We didn't go this weekend because the ground is still covered with snow and it's freaking COLD outside. Think anywhere between 6-35 degrees. Last night when we got in the car to go home (tom and I went out to dinner) it was ONE degree. Holy moly.
Here is a picture of miss Allison riding a pony ...
This is in the bird exhibit where you can feed the birds using little seed covered sticks. This one is Allison ...
And Ella ...
Here is photo evidence that I'm a bad mother. Can you make out what is in Karl's hand? That's right boys and girls - a tootsie roll pop.

I wouldn't call you a bad mother... just a fun one!
I wish the zoo were closer to us. I'm sure the boys would love frequent trips to the zoo!
i love the zoo... we took the boys twice this summer, even tho they slept thru the whole thing. :P
& geez, karl is getting BIG!
Please lady..you aren't a bad mother! If you are, then I'm a TERRIBLE mother! It's pretty cold here too, well for Texas weather! It snowed alot across Texas yesterday which is RARE as hell.
The kids look so cute at the zoo...I can't wait to take Mason when it gets a little warmer!
Jeez Nancy! You are daring! In fear that she would refuse all other food besides sweets (like, um, someone who may or may not be her mother), I didn't give my girl any sweets until she was a year old. She had her first Tootsie Pop this past Halloween, shortly after her 3rd birthday! Of course, she spit the Tootsie Roll portion out in my hand.
We love the zoo. Well, I do anyway, and everyone else goes along with me. The best part about our zoo...it's free!
Cute pics Nancy. And, your parenting style sounds like it is right in line with mine.
It's about a 4 hour drive to our zoo so we usually only get to go once a year, but the kids love it every time.
So cute! I love the zoo- thank goodness it's been crappy weather here or I would've totally taken Caiden by now- and pised of my mil for not letting her be the first one to take her to a zoo!
