Allison is sick now with a fever and puking episodes. I ran out of Motrin so I sent daddy to the store to get more. He came home with the generic versions after the pharmacist told him all about the motrin and Tylenol recalls.
I looked it up online and found that 4 of the 5 bottles I have at home are part of the recall. I was able to request replacements for all of my bottles too. So that's cool of them.
I wonder if the puking was brought on by the medication I gave the kids for their high fevers. I gave both kids recalled products. Scary.
Here is to the medications being thrown away.

I hadn't even heard of the recalls. I'm going to look into it now. Thanks for the info!
I hope everyone there starts to feel better soon...
I started buying generic only when I realized that it was almost always brand names involved in those damn recalls. The couple of bucks saved helps, too, I guess! Hope the kids are feeling better.
I actually always buy generic--it's the same stuff just cheaper. The only time I buy brand name is if it's on sale for less than the generic. lol I hope everyone gets back to normal soon!!!
Hope all the kids feel better soon.
That is scary that the kids are sick after taking the recalled meds. I hope everyone gets better soon. I guess if you and DH get the illness you will know it's a virus. If you don't, then it could likely be from the meds. Dang.
I have four bottles of stuff that was recalled. I can't get the "refund/replacement" link to work. Hmm...
It finally worked. Most of mine expire sometime this year anyway. One of them was never even opened. She wasn't quite old enough for it when DH bought it (got the wrong one)...of course she is now.
We now have NO children's pain meds or zyrtec in the house. Hopefully, we won't need anything now that we are out of flu season.
I had the recalled stuff too- found out after I had given Pumpkin some for teething pain... Just got my big ole $10 check today though. Not bad since apparently mine expired this month too!
Hope everyone's feeling better. I think I am sticking to generics from now on too!
