"Confrimation" of Attendance.

As I have said before, I am sending Ella to a charter school. Today, I received an email with instructions to confirm her attendance of the next school year. With the subject line of "Confrimation of attendance".

Um, maybe I should think twice about this school?

Maybe you can give them one typo, but if you get more I'd think twice ;) You'd think they would have checked it before sending it out though.

Yikes! Well, it sure doesn't make them look good!

I saw a story recently with a misspelling on a diploma. No wonder our education system is so well respected (sarcasm).

That's too funny! It would definitely make me second guess my choice as well...

I hope you are doing well...

LOL, reminds me of when my english teacher told us online at the beginning of the school year "you will be garded on spelling". LMAO. I can't remember if I had said anything or not, but I did get a good laugh.

ROFL...as long as the typos don't continue, I might be willing to cut them a break.

Nice. Reminds me of something you'd see on CakeWrecks. (Follow that blog? It's hilarious!)

I actually thought of you when I discovered the prolapsed uterus knowing one of the treatments is surgery. You and the number of surgeries you've had is ridiculous!

And thanks for the well wishes on Kasen... I'm in love :)

Oh dear. I'm not in the US, can you explain what a charter school is?

This kind of junk happens at my school too, unfortunately. It's usually because the office staff make that paperwork and unfortunatly aren't that educated or don't proof-read. The teachers should be better :)... hopefully..!

brilliant! I agree if it happens a second time- you may want to rethink :o)

Stuff like this annoys the shit out of me! I'm sure the director of my child's daycare hates me because I'm constantly pointing out spelling and grammer errors on the bulletin boards. Parent notes I generally let slide but when they have it on a bulletin board glaring at me every day it just gets to me.

That's too funny...and really sad...

I certainly hope it was not from the Charter School I teach at! Yikes!

P.S. You should TOTALLY point this out to them.

As a teacher, I hate it when I see grammatical and/or spelling errors on signs or papers to go home. Most of the time it is the office staff that does miss something. Of course I can't honestly say that I have never sent something home with an error on it.

Our poor Art teacher is horrible at spelling. She is constantly asking me how to spell things. It's especially difficult for her since she is dyslexic, but she can draw anything and shows you can still graduate college with learning "differences." She's an awesome art teacher. :)

Oops...not the best first impression, that's for sure!

My dad always wanted to take our letters from school and circle all the spelling/grimmer errors in red and send them back. I'm not sure if he ever did...
