it's tough. i used to have a super stressful 90+ hr a week job & now am a stay at home mom, & this is MUCH harder. there is no such thing as privacy or personal time.
hang in there... hopefully you can get back to work soon!

Sorry you are having a hard time. As much as I would like to stay at home, I know that it would be very difficult. I hope you and DH can find some ways to make it easier for you.

It's definitely not for everyone I'll tell you that much.

I know I couldn't do it with an infant at home. I'd be pulling my hair out. Hope you find work or get back to school soon.

It's definitely not for everyone. Hope you get liberated soon.

I'm sorry you're in a position you don't want to be in.

I find it really hard to imagine NOT wanting to be a SAHM (because I'm me) but I'm guessing your feelings are similar to what mine might be if I had to put the kids in daycare and work full time. I. Would. HATE. That.

Hugs!

At least you're honest and can admit it's not for you. I have days where I feel that way but only once every week or two.

I'm sorry you're in this situation, and wish you the best in the job hunt.

My SIL often tells me "It must be nice to be able to stay home and keep your house clean and go out and do whatever you want."

What the hell.

I have 4 kids. There is no such thing as a clean house and most days I don't go anywhere besides school dropoff/pickup and Walmart for diapers. LOL

She's sooooooo jaded.

;)

Hope you are having luck with the job search.

I was happy to return to work after maternity leave. No crying for me. My only regret is not being able to afford a cleaning service.

Me too. I went from working 24/7 to 40 hours. I don't have the energy for it- but I do have a chronic illness. Working has made me a better mom, I think.
