Suck it!

Karl would ~not~ nurse today. At all. So weird and it's left me all, ahem, full. I'm about to bust out my pump.

I wonder if I ate something he didn't like yesterday or something. Let's see. I had: oatmeal for breakfast; ham and cheese sandwich, baked doritos and string cheese for lunch; chicken breast, green beans and pasta for dinner.

do you say dinner or supper?

I don't like when he refuses to nurse. Funny, my girls were so much more boobie babies than my son is. I wonder why. He better be back on the boat in the morning though. We've got at least 4 1/2 months left of breastfeeding!

We say dinner.

Does Karl have any sore spots in his mouth? I know that was the only thing that would make my boys refuse to nurse.

I totally say Dinner. Who says supper? Is that a Northern thing?

Maybe he teeth/gums are bothering him?

I say dinner...I think the "older" generation says supper. And I think supper took place much earlier in the evening/late afternoon....

Maybe Karl is more of an Ass man...lol

I say dinner. My husband says supper. For me, supper is more of a farmer's/older generation term.

I got nothing on the nursing. I hope he's back on the boob today!

dinner.

I hope he's back on today- maybe he prefers the good old fashioned non-baked doritos? (I know I do!)

I say dinner and supper. More often supper, because dinner can also mean Sunday lunch. :)

Scarlett went on a nursing strike for a couple of days when she was around 3 months old and she wouldn't take a bottle. She came back after a couple of days though. Karl will too.

It's a common age for nursing strikes, and I would bet he's back to his old self again today. That sucks though! At least he'll take a bottle, right? Since Andrew would ONLY take the boob, we never had any issues with that, but we certainly had the other way around. Blah. Check kellymom.com ; I know they have some information on nursing strikes and what to do.

I say lunch and supper. If someone says "dinner", I ask them if they're talking about noon or 6:00 p.m., beacause I honestly don't know!

I say dinner the most but I do say both.

Chicken never refused to nurse for a full day (what did you do), so I'm of now help - sorry!

(ps. I stole your question idea, I didn't mean to but that is how it worked out. I know you will have answers to both so go over there and answer them!)

My grandma always says "supper" and she says it in a way that makes me hungry.

We say supper.

Not sure why Karl is not wanting to nurse.

I've noticed days where Boo just wasn't hungry. And sometimes if I'm on my period, he doesn't like it as much for some strange reason.

Also, if Boo sees the bottle, he wants the bottle! Silly boys...

Never called it supper before, it sounds funny to me.

I hope Karl did better with the boobies today.
