WhatEVER, pampers.

I have been sticking the point stickers from the packs of diapers and wipes to the back of the nursery door since Karl was born. I finally put them all in. And I don't even qualify yet for the $10 starbucks card (which, by the way, is temporarily unavailable).

Whatever pampers. Sure, I'm taking part in ruining the world by using disposables and allowing them to profit from it, but damn it, doesn't 7 months worth of diapers and wipes earn me at least 2 cups of freaking coffee?

I said I would try cloth diapers. It's time for me to do that. AND, I need to start making my own wipes. I gotta find my recipe for that again. Take THAT, pampers.

I know how you feel. Over 1 year of double diapers and wipes and I was only able to get two movie tickets!

I wish I could do the cloth diapers but I am just too lazy! Maybe with the next one...

I'm currently researching washable wipes because I cringe whenever I have to buy disposable ones and figure I'm already washing cloth diapers!

Can you post your recipe when you find it? I'm at a loss what to use.

We are on almost 3 years of diapers (thank goodness he's almost potty trained, and only wears Easy Ups for naps and when we go out), and all I've gotten are some books and a $10 gift card to the Lego store. They don't SELL anything for $10!!!

I'd wanted to do cloth when he was born, but hubby was too nervous. Oh well!

I LOVE my cloth. Cloth wipes are super cheap. We just have a plastic container of water with a squirt of Dr Bronner's castile soap.I have the peri bottle from the hospital to use for trips. Do you want me to email my cloth suggestions?

You mean I'm saving those stupid codes for basically nothing... suck! Dumb papmers.

haha! I just entered mine in this morning & I am .5 point from ANYTHING! The only thing for 40 points (and hello- my baby's 5 months old)is a stupid collage that I would probably give away anyway!

I'm with you on the reusable wipes recipe. I know the hub is not about to do cloth, but we get there eventually.

Cloth diapering - from what I hear - is great (although, I'm a disposable girl). A friend of mine says it's a great system once you get used to it...and cheaper.

I saw your post on my blog - I know it's somewhat confusing to post a comment - if you click on the little "post-it" note at the top-left side of my post, you can post a comment that way. There's a number in the post-it note...which signifies how many comments there are currently. Thanks for the suggesting on the Nuby...I'll give it a try for sure!

This will be fun for us to enter the world of cloth diapering together! I will be interested to hear what you try out and what works and doesn't work.

They sell butt cleaner on cottonbabies.com and some other diaper websites. Some people use soapy water. I'm going to try that first. I bought some soap bits from wee essentials shop on etsy. I use that now for clean up after baby food. And I bought some cloth wipes from etsy too.

i had saved up my points thru 2 kids and about 3 years. I had gotten so excited because i was actually able to get a decent toy out of it for the girls. I went to log in and claim my prize and my points were reset to zero. i called and complained, sent emails (some nasty grams), and never got a response. i vowed to never do it again, i was so pissed off.

After almost 3 years, I was able to get a Monster Bowling set for my daughter. My SIL got some cool crap like an electric car, and I get Monster Bowling. WTF? Thank God she's almost potty trained!

We love our cloth too. We use a combination of flushable wipes, mostly for the older one's poo, and just water on washcloths that go in with the diapers.

We wash every 2 or 3 days.

I love my cloth! terrycloth washcloths with water work great. I like to make a wipe solution with some baby lotion and water (boil the water so the lotion mixes in).

7 months and not even enough points for a starbucks card yet? wow. That is pretty amazing. What's the best prize and how many years of diapers do you have to go through to get it? Might be a good reason to dealy potty training. Lol

Uh...that would be delay. Not dealy. Whatever that means.
