When I first had Karl, I was a crazy diaper changer. It took me forever because I just didn't know how in the world to clean him. Well, I ~knew~, not too hard to clean someone - just clean until it's not dirty anymore. But I was scared. Oh, how I was scared of that little tiny penis and testicle bag.
Now I have noticed I am a pro. I can clean a blowout in no time at all.
That's kind of a funny post.

LOL. Well that is def good that you can clean poo of the scrot. You crack me up.
So do you think it was easier to clean your girls when they were babies?
Oy, it can be quite a task to clean up a little boy. I have limited experience changing baby girls but I can say that I prefer changing boys. It seems a lot easier.
heh. I was never very comfy with changing boy diapers- we only have girls in our family.
You'll have to tell me the story behind your call sometime...
Here from ICLW.
It is...a different experience, that's for sure. :-)
It amazes me still (and my boys are 16.5 months old) how fast they can shoot pee across the room. Turn your head for a second and bam!
I think boys are easier to clean than girls - fewer crevices! Of course, I never had to change my nephews' blowouts (come to think of it, I don't think they even had blowouts), but I never used more than one or two wipes. Sometimes, with my daughter, I'd go through 4 or 5! Also, I thought that boys were the only ones who could pee in my face, but sadly, I was mistaken.
I think that boys are much easier than girls (of course the only girls I've changed are my nieces so I don't get a ton of practice) because boys don't have a ton of nooks and crannies like girls do.
I also noticed that with Lawson I got FAST and I haven't been peed on in a really long time (knock on wood).
It never really freaked me out in the beginning but I still get really weirded out when he gets an erection while I'm changing him. Sometimes I put the old diaper on for a bit because it's just too wrong haha!
lol, I hear ya! Glad you figured it all out, as I'm sure Karl is ;o)
"So do you think it was easier to clean your girls when they were babies?"
--- TOTALLY. Girls are so so so so much easier to clean!
That is so funny, I have the same fears if I have a girl.
I think girls are easier too. I know what you mean about being scared of scrotum. How do I know how to clean one of these things? I've never had one!
Glad you're a pro now.
I thought girls would be easier. But seeing as the only girly bits in my house are my own...
LOL, I totally get what you mean. It's was like a whole new set of rules or somethings...girls are so cut and dry, little boys have lits going on, hehe!
LOL, I never thought it was hard, but I am pretty "anal" about wiping until I'm sure it's clean. One time my MIL didn't do such a great job, so that was gross. Plus, she puts the diapers on way too loose. Idiot.
You think girls are easier?!? I say boys are def. easier to clean...
Haha that's funny, I think id be a little confused too.
I think girls are easier to clean too. How do you get that really stuck on poop off of a boy. I'm definitely a pro at boy diapers now that Dylan is 19 months, but it took some time.
Hehe, Thomas always jokes around when I pick up little mans scrotum and clean under it...oh and underneath his penis too.
You literally had me LMAO! You crack me the fuck up.
Yep, it is scary at first...especially when you are used to girls!
How funny!!! I was too SO scared and didnt know what to do with the weiner when I changed a friends liitle boy's diaper. I have a little girl and boy it sure if alot different, so many more things to worry about.
Your kids are gorgeous btw : )
I was a little scared to be responsible for cleaning a penis all day, every day myself! 4 weeks later and I think I got it.
Haha- imagine my thoughts the first time I had to clean an 80 year old man.
My son's nooks and crannies were nothing in comparison.
