I've got a little guy.

We just got back from our 18 month appointment and mr Karl weighed in at a mere 22lbs. Not too small, but on the lower edge of normal.

The appointment went well. Even the three shots weren't too traumatic. Still. I hate when we have to inflict pain on him when he doesn't know its coming. We also talked about his lack of talking. The doctor is assuming right now its simply the fact of birth order or even his hard time with ear infections. So for now, we're just going to wait and see what happens. If no talking by 2, that's when we'll step in with some speech therapy.

Time is going by way too fast. Even though I'm not cut out to be a sahm, I'm cherishing the time I get to spend with my little man. And my girls. Its an amazing time in my life.

Oh my goodness!!! Caiden is 22.6 pounds! But she's only 28.5" so she is short & solid!
He'll talk when he is ready- my former managers son didn't say more than 3 words when I met him at two- then he had his tubes done & now he is so incredibly vocal. Then again- maybe Karl is going to be the quiet sensitive type that the ladies will swoon over!

Eeeh, don't worry too much about the not talking. Einstein didn't talk until he was 4.

My oldest was wiry like Karl.

Sweet little guy! Shots are no fun.

Andrew has always been little -- 20th to 30th percentile. I honestly think that most of my friends' girls are bigger than their boys! Just a trend I have noticed.

I'm glad you're enjoying being a SAHM. When it comes down to it, you will never get that time back ever so just savor the moment. And take some pics! :)

I like what jenn said about the quiet sensitive man the ladies will love :-) I can't believe he's already 18 months. Holy crapola. Time just needs to slow down. Brynn isn't much of a talker either, I'm trying to be patient but it's not easy. Especially when you see all the other kids gabbing away. Been trying to get back into the swing of blogging...I enjoyed the update!

Okay, I'm super biased about this because of my knowledge of the million therapies Allison takes but, I'd go ahead and put him in speech now. It can't hurt and the state will pay for it. Especially if he really isn't talking at all.

Or just ignore me. :) As I said, I'm super biased.
