I've created little monsters!

Massage monsters that is.

Ever since I took the girl in to get a professional massage a week or so ago, they have been asking me to massage them. And of course I can't get away with just one of them, they both want it done. It's cute as they just lay there, soaking in the good feeling.

I've tried to give Karl a massage, but he gets to squirmy. I used to give him infant massage, but he's grown out of the times he'd lay still for one. He does, however, let me soft tickle is belly and his back. He could be all active, but the moment I start tickling him, he lays completely still.

Do you do this for your children? If you don't, I highly recommend starting. Although once you start, you've got to be committed doing it every night! It's part of our bedtime routine now.

Caiden loves foot rubs. Every night we snuggle & read stories & she sticks her little feet up to get rubbed. She does it every morning too. It's adorable! She does still calm down through back pats most of the time too.
I actually can't wait till she starts rubbing our backs!

That is really funny that the girls like massages. I think it's good for them to get relaxed and feeling good. I massage Chesley most every night right after his bath before we put on clothes. He knows to get the lotion and lay down. His little eyes get heavy and sleepy and relaxed.

Visiting early from ICLW. I never tried giving massages to my son, but one of my neighbors practices jin shin jyutsu, and she recommends it, too! Maybe I'll try with this second baby, provided everything works out and she arrives in late January!

I give Cam little back massages in the bath when I'm rubbing soap all over, he loves it!

I need to read up on infant massage because it is something that I would like to do.

I don't do it at a specific time but I'm really big on the comfor and healing power of touch. I gently rub Hunter's back and also like u call it soft tickle. And his legs and arms. I do it when he's already a little quieter and relaxed and he really seems to enjoy it! :-)

We used to massage Henry, but we stopped once he was on the go. Maybe I will see if he will let me do it again :)

Your kids are beautiful!

Massage feels great, is really relaxing and teaches a child about trust. Actually, that goes for adults too. I love the idea and will suggest it to my two tomorrow at bedtime. Thanks.

My kindergartner will be a massage monster, no doubt. OK with me, as long as he learns to give them back!
