Whew! That was a fun one.

I enjoyed the last conversation! Everyone was able to share there differing views and no one got nasty and no one tried to change anyone else's opinion. We were all able to share our own, explain our own, and leave it at that. Cool.

To change the subject, here is the conversation I had with my kids when I got out my new scale. (my old scale was off and I knew I weighed more, but seeing it kinda sucked).

Me: "Darn it. I do weigh more."
Ella: "That's because you are fat mommy!"
Allison: "She's skinny Ella!"
Ella: "Allison, mommies are fat. Mommy is a mommy. So mommy is fat!"

Awesome.

Note - reading back, I don't think Allison said "She's skinny" to Ella. She did say something about the fact I was skinny, but I don't think she used "She's".

Nice logic there on Ms. Ella's part. "Mommies are fat. Mommy is a mommy. So mommy is fat!" Even if you don't agree (and I don't, obviously), you have to be pretty impressed by the decisive logic in play. Especially from the mouth of a 3 year old.

Has she been reading the IQ sample tests again?

"If all pogs are chogs and all bogs are pogs, then all bogs are chogs."

(Don't you hate the made up crap those tests throw at you?)

Those two should go on the "Kids say the darnest things"..they'd make a fortune LOL. You aren't fat so dont feel that way, you are far from it! :)

You have a smart one on your hands but I know you already know that. Not a great application of the transitive property, but for her age you've got to be impressed. And you're nowhere near fat :)
