I've been told by many people "karl will just suddenly take off walking and surprise you." I've nodded politely to each person replying "yup, maybe!" while I kinda rolled my eyes.
But now I must admit "they" were right.
Last night, Karl just changed his mind about crawling and decided walking was his thing. This morning too. He's now walking about 80% of the time.
Just like that.
Hrm.

Yay walking! I'm still waiting for the twins to stand on their own. They can let go for like 5 seconds but then grab on or fall down. It'll happen soon enough, I'm sure. :-)
Woot Karl!! The boys did that too. PetBolly stopped walking one day, I think b/c of some random bump to the ground, and he would only crawl and didn't like to even stand alone. Then one day he realized he wasn't as fast as SeaMonkay, and started walking again. ::shrugs:: Wish I knew what goes on in those heads.
thats awesome! go karl!
Yay Karl! Teddy is walking about 50% of the time. I noticed he went from taking 4 steps at a time to 8 or 9 as of this morning. I am happy but kind of sad too. I'm surprised he's walking at 13 months because Ricky didn't walk til he was 18 months old.
Your little man should be in baby commercials/ads - so round and so darn cute!!
YAY Karl...way to go big guy!! :)
Yay! Andrew did the same thing. He loved crawling so much and it was so much faster. When we were down in Florida last year, he decided walking was better (maybe after crawling around in the sand?). :)

Yay Karl! I found it so much easier on me when the boys started to walk. No longer a need to carry them around everywhere...
