Karl. The Destructor.

What a difference having a boy is after two girls.

He's constantly knocking this down, throwing things, climbing up on things. What happened to my sweet baby karl?

Like an idiot I gave him a snowglobe to look at. In a matter of a moment, he spiked it down on the hardwood floor to where it bursted into a bajillion glass and glitter pieces.

He's just non-stop. I wonder if this truly is boys vs girls.

All I can say is that my boys are the same. They climb on everything, get into everything, and like to throw and hit things. I haven't had a girl, but if I compare them to my nieces (all 8 of them) it seems to be a boy vs. girl thing.

I have one boy and one girl. My boy is older and the girl younger. My girl is WAY more destructive. She will destroy any thing she gets her hands on almost immediately. My boy has never been the destructive type. But with all my nieces and nephews (14 on my side and 8 on hubby's side) it is normally the other way.

My nieces are wide open but my youngest boy takes it to a whole new level...wide ass open all the time.

I just hope it's more of a vacation with Elise! Andrew is very, very high energy and has always been rough with things. Plus, he won't play with any toys. He just throws them and doesn't want anything to be organized or together. He balances this with his sweet personality -- giving me lots of hugs and kisses.

I don't have anything to compare to, but I noticed at a very early age Skeeter was hitting things. This progressed quickly to throwing. Makes you give thought to nature vs. nurture.

both my boys are like that, & always have been. although since i have no girls, i can't compare, i just sympathize with the destruction.
i have to admit though, i LOVE it. i was always a tomboy myself, so i kind of dig the chaos. :)

I have a sneaking suspicion that Caiden will be exactly the same. She already giggles at destruction...

But it ~is~ fun & entertaining. While a challenge- at least there's no boredom! (Plus Karl's smile is bound to bail him out of practically anything!)

I think it's personality. I have 2 boys. The older is DestructoBoy personified. The younger is a lot more careful. Extrovert vs introvert I think here.
