Ella: "Mommy, when peter pan dies, (our tortoise with a 50+ year life expectancy) we're going to get three white bunnies."
Me: "Three, huh?"
Ella: "Yes. One for me. One for Daddy. One for you and one for Allie."
(moment of silence)
Ella: "Make that 4."

I love those little moments. I was at PetSmart the other day with the boys shopping for a new pooper scooper for the dogs. I found one with 2 pieces, one is a scoop and the other is a scraper thing to push the poop in. (Sorry about the poop references...) Anyway, Tyler kept saying that it was a rake and I kept saying, well, sort of, it's not really a rake, but it's LIKE a rake.
As we walked around the store to get the dog food, we walked by another bin. In it was the same model, only instead of a scraper thing, it had a rake.
Tyler looked at me and said, "That's what I'm talking about."
LoL....I love when you can actually see the moment when a child's brain catches up to what their mouth just said =P
