I signed up to be an official co leader of the daisies this year. It goes daisies, brownies then girl scouts. Last year I co led, but the leader just grouped all the girls together. Which was fine, its just that the girls didn't get to work on their troop specific patches. We still got a lot of fun patches, just none of the ones you earn specificly for daisies, brownies, girl scouts.
So hopefully this year will be better. We can work for their badge specific things and follow a more structures group setting. I think we can still meet together and do arts and crafts as a group, but we need 30 mins as our smaller groups to work on their troop specifics. Ha. Who knew miss pink rock nancy would be a co leader in girl scouts?!

hmmm- tattoos as arts & crafts? ;)
I can totally picture it- you'll be an awesome troop mother/co-leader! (I was never in brownies or girl scouts, but secretly a little jealous of the girls that were!)
I was just thinking how incongruous it seemed for you to be a Girl Scout co-leader! But you'll give some life to the organization, I think...
I hope my girls want to do Scouts. I had fun. And the cookies are good.
Jeramy is going to start leading a mormon cub scout troop. We're kind of mormon. The beer drinking, tattooed, motorcycle riding kind, which pretty much doesn't exist. Why they asked him to lead a troop is beyond me. I told him that I'd follow him around with a camera crew because this has the makings of a good comedy movie.
You're going to be a kick ass girl scout leader. Go Nancy!
I love those little daisy uniforms! Send some cookies my way!
Awesome!
You know, under your tough girl attitude, there is a sunny little Girl Scout just dying to get down with her bad(ge) self! ;)
