I can't believe how gorgeous your kids are...
Are those their pj's? I'm so jealous. I'd love to sleep in that tutu!
Oh, and borsch is beet soup. It's a traditional polish (and Russian and Ukranian, anywhere poor really) dish and it's actually amazing.
As for the pea soup. I think you would like it. I too hate peas (my dad loves them and we ate them for EVERY meal as a kid. I can't stand them now) but pea soup tastes nothing like peas. You use the dried kind and it tastes more like thick ham soup.
I'd send you some of my batch but we ate it all (plus by the time it got down there it would taste worse that peas).
