Red Robin. Yum.

Allison picked red robin for her birthday dinner. They sang happy birthday to her and she couldn't of been more thrilled.

Karl was a beast though. He simply did not want to be confined to a high chair. We ate as quickly as we could and got the hell out of there. He is usually such a good baby when we go out. But not this time. It sucked big monkey balls. We ended up having to hold him and walk around with him so he wouldn't bother the other diners. I hate it when other people just let their kids fuss in public, giving no respect to the other people around them. We are certainly not those people.

we are approaching that stage as well. If we aren't extremely well prepared with snacks & toys & games- and not to mention an accommodating waitress or group at the next table that likes to play a little peek-a-boo- we are screwed for going out to eat. The last meal we had sitting down at a restaurant was at Waffle House- think less classy, but 10x faster, Denny's.
Red Robin has some yummy food though... and milkshakes!

Even little ones have their moments. I guess this was one of his.

It is a tough age for restaurants. We had breakfast out a few weeks ago, and the second the food arrived Jillian was done. We took turns walking with her around the restaurant while the other one ate. Good times.
